AMD and Intel Architecture

We use computers today use the processor as a processing center, either on personal computers, servers, and laptops. Many factories that produce processor such as processor Intel, AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), Cyric and much more. But we often hear the market only a few such as Intel and AMD, but there are others like Cyric and Cruso, because performance cannot be upgraded by the manufacturer so it cannot compete with factory giants like Intel and AMD. And did we ever figure out what's on processors such as the functional unit. The author will try to discuss about how the twolargest processor manufacturers are competing, what technologies to use and architecture.

Keywords: Comparative processor, AMD64, EM64T, instruction set, architecture, pipeline, Hyper Transport, hyper treading.

1.   Preliminary
Starting from an idea how it works within the processor and the competition is going on between Intel and AMD. We often wonder whether the advantages of each processor and whether the price of Intel that was more expensive than AMD Intel as processor ensure that good? Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish only in terms of price alone, we should also take into account how the architecture, so, therefore, the authors emphasize how competition in the Intel and AMD architectures.
As a technology-minded man should be food for thought how Intel and AMD processor is working and how the technology that supports it, so there is a difference of two products.
At this time we will have difficulty determining what is good, so true if the author of the paper presents the architecture point of view of each processor, so the processor can determine which one is good for the one we use in everyday life.

2.    AMD and Intel Architecture
Current is very rapid development of CPU looks from the competition between Intel and AMD each have improved performance, the basic architecture of the processor can be seen in the table.

If we have seen how fundamental differences in the Intel and AMD, we can see also on the architectural drawings
