NOTE  : If your game is on the list you can find there: http://www.playonlinux.com/scripts/show_repository.php, you can trust the compatibility with a Linux OS.
If it's not on the list, you have to check if it runs ok with Wine (check that here: http://appdb.winehq.org/). If it does run with Wine, you can use "Liveinstall" option that is available in the script.
